Amy Gibbs
Amy Gibbs is the proud owner and master stylist of Lavish Salon. She has been in the beauty industry for over 16 years. She started her career off working with two Paul Mitchell National Educators. It was here where she learned the ins and outs of business as well as fine tuning her skills.
She then worked at Shear Elements for 3 years before opening lavish in February, 2015.
AAmy keeps up with current trends and newest techniques by attending classes, workshops and trade shows. She has recently invested her time into perfecting bridal hair, and loves making brides feel and look AMAZING!
Amy is also a certified eyelash technician, specializing in classic and hybrid looks, along with lash lift and tints.

Sara Nitz
Sara has been in the hair industry since 2007. She loves that her career gives her the opportunity to use her creativity to make people feel beautiful and confident, while building a lasting relationship with her clients.
Sara graduted from La James Institute in East Moline, IL and continues to always seek opportunities to learn and grow as an artist.
She found her career starting at Mia & Maxx then followed her dreams of being self employed, working at Shear Elements Salon and now Lavish Salon and Spa. Sara is certified in extensions, wedding makeup, spray tanning and also a certified microblading and shading artist.
Away from work, she loves spending time with her family, her daughter Adalyn, and exploring the outdoors.

Ashley Spong
Hello, my name is Ashley and I find being a hairstylist so fulfilling. I’m sure you hear it all the time how we love to make people feel beautiful but it’s really so much more. I personally couldn’t imagine another career path so hopefully this one works out. 😉
So a little back story, I started cosmetology school in high school during my senior year. Fell in love with my instructors’ passion and drive during that year. Then I went off to Mason City Iowa, to get my license there. Graduated and started work in 2012 and haven’t looked back. I started my journey in a commission salon where they provided a ton of education and I really honed in on my skills. From there I finally found my home salon here at Lavish. We really do make the best team and if you’ve been in the salon everyone can feel that. We really take pride in our work and space!
Okay enough about work, I have two amazing dogs that are why I have to work so much. I enjoy camping, hiking, kayaking and everything in between and beyond. My dogs are usually on the adventure with us, because why not right? My significant other and I have been together since we were 19 and 20, just living the best life we can. I really try to live my live with intention on being a better me everyday. I truly believe we get out of life what we put into it, so I try to give it my all.

Jaylyn Kull
Jaylyn graduated from Paul Mitchell the School-Normal in April of 2017. Cosmetology is her passion. She offers services such as color,cuts, wedding hair and make-up. She is certified in Brazilian blowouts, and spray tans. She specializes in Deva Curl cuts and extensions including (sew in wefts, hand tied, tape and more). She loves working on blondes and executing color!
If Jaylyn is not in the salon you can find her working in her clothing boutique “Blush & Bull” where she spends countless hours. When she is not working she is boating in the summer or snowmobiling in the winter! She loves to travel. She has a puppy named Oakley! They recently moved to Taylor Ridge, now officially making the quad cities “Home”. She began her journey at Jaywow’s Hair Studio in Washburn IL and she started her next adventure in February 2019 at Lavish Salon & Spa where she has grown into the stylist she is today.

Sarah
Meet Sarah. She has been with our Lavish team for 3 years and in the beauty industry for over 10 years. Making a career out of a passion is something to strive for and she has done just that. Sarah specializes in sew in extensions, lived in color that grows out flawlessly, blonding techniques and Balayage. Sarah also is part of the Lavish Dream Team that provide a customized wedding experience. Being able to be part of so many people's big day is an absolute honor. Working with both hair and makeup during the wedding season is such a great way to see a bride's vision come to life on her big day.
As a coach's wife, a mom to a travel ball player and two more little league players, you can find Sarah next to the dugout if she isn't at the salon. If she isn't at the field check any concert venue or in her new found passion, her garden.
